In this way she got a beautiful set to play
But all was not rosy....The kids were (+/-)2 years of Adhu's age, mostly from the northern part of india, very aggressive and super smart i should say. Adhu being the soft one was finding it difficult to get adjusted to this evolving set. She was getting bullied, it happened so that she used to take her toys (like barbie's) for play and the other kids would play with it without allowing her to even touch it....
I was wondering whether i should be pitching in either instructing her to be more smart or asking other kids not to dominate her too much...When i started slowly telling her about being smart, i became her first enemy..she was never ready to let down her friends group and come, what, may wanted to play with them. When i was wondering(worrying) what to do, i laid out some ground rules. She can go down and play only outdoor games like running, catching etc with friends and not take her dolls which she started to oblige after a long time...
Now after a couple of months, she seems to be understanding that kids come of all shapes and size, everybody can't be docile. some will be aggresive, domineering, co-operative or too soft. The other day, Advitha went to Raisa (another super smart friend of hers) and asked her if she wants to play with her for which the girl replied ' i am not your friend and i don't want to play with you'. Advitha was instant in saying 'Its okay, i have other friends to play..you go'..Well now i need not be a worried mom.My lil one knows how to survive :)
