What do I say about a 1.8 year old kiddo enjoying at 14000+ft with remarkable stamina and inspiring energy. Yes it’s my daughter and her co-operation level in Kashmir and ladakh trip was overwhelming to say the least
In Kashmir
· Adhu was thoroughly excited in her first flight trip to delhi ,she did not sleep and kept saying ‘pane, pane’
· The 3 hour round pony ride in Phalgam was too good. Arvind held her for half the distance and me the rest. I kept singing all rhymes including her favorite ‘ london bridge is falling down’ throughout the pony ride.
· She felt excited in the Gondola ride in Gulmarg
Enroute from Kashmir to Ladakh
· She threw up twice during the start of the trip making us a worried lot, then she got easily adjusted to the altitude levels
· She hardly slept and enjoyed the biting cold
· Lost one of her gold stud in kargil and promptly kept on asking us ‘thoo yenga’
Ladakh
· The travel agency in ladkah admired her for her stamina levels, when people take rest for atleast 24+hours on arrival at ladakh, adhu was playing with her dad in the travel agency
· At fotula pass (world’s third highest pass at 17,000 ft) Adhu refused to come inside the car wanting to spend more time there.(Army strictly restricts general public to spend not more than 20 minutes in the oxygen deprived place)
· At pangong lake, we had to clear her nature’s call with the biting cold water of the lake for which she never protested
· Highlight was at khardungla pass (highest motorable pass in the world) where she started to play
Other highlights were
· Adhu’s attachment to Prem’s eight month old baby ‘Adarsh’ , she delighted playing gently with him that even after coming home she asked for ‘baby enga’
· Adhu spoke her two word sentence for the first time ‘ mea enga, bow bow enga, baby enga’ , yesterday it graduated to three words ‘baby panela ekkan’
· Had two alpenlibe lollipops in full for the first time
· Had maggi and tea (good quantity) for the first time
During her first flight to Delhi
It was a 10 day trip with 3 days in Kashmir+2 days enroute by road from Kashmir to ladakh and 4 days in ladakh. Advitha enjoyed the trip very wellIn Kashmir
