Happenings at Adhu's nest
Really don’t know where to start with:lots and lots of happenings…to start with first hearty hearty wishes to arvind on his ‘Super achiever award’.Bugger had put down his papers in his earlier company and just before that he had got nominated for this award, but his people were gracious enough to honour him with this award…Arvind flew down to Delhi to receive his award…How nice!!!
Cousins
Cousins
Then there are nice get together parties especially with the lil ladies -Deepa, Disha and ashok kutty. All three are arvind cousins’ kids.In Bangalore we have a big relative crowd…so at point of time we had some 20 people ,4 kids ransacking the home..Oh boy!!it was great fun..Adhu during their first visit was as usual a very shy kid(read very very shy) that she did not even go to them. She went to the extent of going to another room and folding her clothes just ignoring the big crowd at home….i felt so bad and embarrassed..But during their second visit she started to play with them…How nice again!!!
The recent one was the visit by Adhu’s ramu thatha..Madam was glued to him…being with relatives is always fun…love you all people

Fair deal
Scenario:1
Busy, clumsy morning and Advitha at her peak
Me:ur gonna miss ur bus,get ready soon
Adhu:Its ok amma, I’ll go in 38 bus if I miss 37
Me:its fine, now u get ready
Adhu:No I am not going to school,in school they are saying ‘sit down, don’t talk’
Me:No Adhu, school is fun, u can learn a lot ,it will be nice
Adhu:No I am not going…..
Me:okay you take your phone to school,is it fine?
Adhu:okay mummy…vango school pogalam
Scenario:2
Adhu with her dad and pestering for chocolates on both hands (she wants to have everything in both hands). Arvind knowing the lil brat in a much better way immediately shows her squeeze jam and surprise of surprise she was ready to compromise chocolate on one hand for the jam
So this is how I learnt my meaning of ‘fair deal’

Bindhu's visit
Two weeks back, we had been to Chennai mainly to see Bindhu and her kid Riya who had come from US. Riya was a cutipie and fitted a perfect baby’s definition to the T. We couldn’t get enough of Riya and Bindhu, Arvind’s cousin sis looked awesome ,I think I need to take some lessons from her.Bindhu gifted Adhu a nice piano. Adhu and Riya played for sometime and Riya would surely be the best playmate for Adhu. But then they are already off to US and I don’t know when these two kids will meet again, at least sometime before their teens I hope!!
The visit was nicely punctuated with Nikhil’s birthday party and my uncle’s shop anniversary party….wow!!!!Being with relatives is always fun
This kid is so sharp-tough at times too
This kid is very sharp
Two scenarios to testify this and to understand how tough is to cope with this lil girl
• She has to go in Bus No 37. Fyi: there are four buses coming into our apartment and her designated one is 37. But she wants to go only in 38. Every day she sees 37 and refuses to go in it. I really don’t know how she realizes it is bus no 37 because all buses look identical except for a name board. Not only us ,everyone down waiting to drop their kids gets puzzled by her realization technique. To top it the bus driver of 38 is reluctant to take another kid designated to other bus and we somehow convince him to take her every day.

• Adhu’s school had asked her to get dressed in red color for some theme day. While I was breaking my head to get the correct red combination, she at ease got her red school skirt and shirt to me-----I felt so stupid. What common sense this kid has got. But its tough at times …read the below

Though it’s a bliss to see her completely dressed up and ready to catch the bus it’s such a bore to enter into a empty house once shez off to school
