summer camp

This year she is eligible for summer camp so we placed here in a two hour camp in our apartment premise ..she seems to be enoying with her friends Surabhi, Manasa,Raghav all there...even otherwise thanks to Jonah, her Vanaja Paati, Kolla paati, bama paati she is having a good time at home ...

Cruise trip -Part 2

Day 3 (Boarding to cruise )

The boarding time to the cruise was in the afternoon. I still had a nudging feel to see Universal studios in Sentosa. So we first we checked in our luggages in the cruise center and then thought of hopping on to sentosa monorail which is very near to the dock. When we reached the cruise center, the first sight of our big ship was tooo good....(jus couldn't cover the entire ship in a single coverage)

Then we went to Sentosa Island to see 'Universal Studios' ,but the exhorbitant prices made us just to take snaps in front of the Universal logo and return to our cruise

We entered the ship and fell in love with it, but an unbelievable crowd of about 450-500 'Krishna devotees' -all in the age of 50-70 really made me feel whether we are in a cruise or in some temple (seriously still didn't know what a religious group got to do with a cruise)

Our cabin was in the fifth floor , the lowest one in terms of category and it had a pothole, the upper floors were with windows and balcony's. The ship had 13 floors and was about 750 meters in length.Our room was a small one with two side bunkers and one in the top for Advitha :)



The rest of the day was spent in expoliting the ship and in the kids pool. Not to mention , the shaky incident when Advitha slid down in the water which was about 4 feet high and struggled for some seconds while i was waiting in the other side of the pool and rushed to push her out.... which made me to summon all gods to ensure that the rest of the trip went on fine
Food was not a problem as we got all indian stuff but the 400+ devotee crowd made us to wait for 15-20 minutes before we enter the indian restaurant

Day 4
This day was completely spent in the ship. In the pool, lobby area and jus relaxing doing nothing and seeing the empty seas...Advitha was at ease today...she had her food properly, was in the pool for 2-3 hours, enjoyed the shows conducted by the cruise people. In the night we landed in Phuket and was given 5 hour time.but we did not step anywhere and just slept in the cruise. Advitha stuck to her top bunker and slept there...

Day 5

This day we landed in Langakawi at around 11 AM and we decided to take a stroll...we saw the Underwater world...Shopped few choclates,,,Advitha got her kitchen set here as well and then went back to the ship at around 4 PM. The rest of the evening was spent in the ship (again lobby, food, sleep...)

Day 6:

It was time to leave cruise.we took her to the mascots party but she did not enjoy for the ususal reason she was hungry and refused to have food.....Then it was good food, play time at Changi's budget airport then back to bangalore...Overall thanks to the play area...Advitha enjoyed the trip very well....

CRuise

After lots of dilidallying we went for a Far east cruise in Superstar Virgo starting from singapore, covering phuket, malaysia and back to singapore-all in three days
Day 1: Flight to singapore
We boarded the Tiger Airways flight to singapore...The budget airline stuck to its tagline being completely budgety about the facilities. But Advitha completely understood the flight take off, landing all stuff...very sweet to see her holding the pasports and keenly seeing what's happening around

Day 2: In Singapore:
We planned to have an uneventful trip to sentosa island. But it just remained a plan. Brat first vommited her hearty meal at Changi Airport's Adyar Ananda Bavan,then she became very tired and cranky throughout the day after her food became a problem...Anyway we managed to cover Underwater world;length and breadth of Singapore through their wonderful MRTS (thanks to the distance betweem the airport-hotel-sentosa) and came back to the lovely heptel-Grand Corpthorne dog tired......
