Mad morning

Morning times are always crazy busy with advitha getting ready for school after having breakfast....me and arvind getting ready for office...seriously i get mad these days with the morning rush...Advitha's schedule in the 'mad mornings' goes like this:

7.30 am: Adhu gets up.By that time me/ arvind would have completed gym and i should have completed cooking...anyway amma takesover the kitchen after 7.30
7.40-7.50: Adhu's brushes her teeth...and drinks her milk.Adhu has become highly obliging for brushing and drinking milk...thanks to different dora pastes ,dora brushes and paaladai for drinking milk

7.50: Bathing... Brat always wants to take bath in the bath tub...How can i make her understand the paucity of time?....anyways dad and daughter has a code language and she somehow wins over me in bathing in the bath tub... its advantageous for me as well...as in the mean time i take my bath

8.00 am: I lift Advitha from the tub...dress her up...pacify her qualms about not dressing in her favourite dress (which would be either very dirty or some god knows what combination)

8.10 am: I start giving her breakfast which may be khichdi, pongal in liquid form...or ravan upma (white upma as she calls) topped up with vegetable soup (aasai yaara vitudhu)

8.30 am: she would have completed 80-90% and i would have lost my patience levels...anyway we pull her down..madam has her own complaints about socks as welll...anyway we stuff her socks and shoes and take her down ...drop her to school at 8.45 am being constantly 15 minutes late....

One thing I should admit...her cooperation levels has improved nicely as she has started to like her school a lot

Drawing reaching good heights

Her colouring skills is slowly translating into drawing as well....she does tracing, putting boundaries with ease....Thanks to her drawing ma'am :)

I should be careful with this girl

A couple of weeks back i remember telling her that my friend's name is 'Aarthi' while speaking with Aarthi over the phone. Today when her paati asked her to look outside saying her friend 'aarthi' is there....Advitha was immediate to respond sayng 'Paati,Aarthi is not my friend, aarthi is mommy's friend'/....
Shouldn't i be very careful with this lady?:)

Club house

Advitha loves our apartment club house to bits...that too the kiddo room with broken train, dangling rabbit ride and never touched dog ride...madam loves everything....kids...so difficult to understand their mindsight

Pinky

A girl in a pink attire, pink cap and riding a pink bicycle.....ultimate pinkie....
fyi:
-she refuses to have choclate because its not in pink
-she has only pink(strwaberry) icecream
-No cake as well except pink coloured ones
-Ultimate is her cupboard...where at one sight ..pple will get pink blindness

Namma metro ride

This post has to be backdated by 2 months. Immediately after metro rail service (popularly called 'namma metro' in bangalore) was announced, we'd decided to take our lil one

She enjoyed it thoroughly and we took her a couple of times later as well
