Lil Ms. Attitude

Adhu is making me spellbound these days...that too with her recently learnt (ing) broken english

Adhu is as ususal busy colouring....

ME: Adhu come help me to clean with the vaccum cleaner
Adhu: don't disturb mommy,i am colouring!!
ME: Who is disturbing you!!!i am just asking!!
Adhu:just now you disturbed me mommy


Though the above looks lil ordinary when i write it, but the way she said and the way she turned around and went, i almost fainted !!!!One lil Ms. Attitude i say......

Terrible and terrific three

I never knew we would be facing this. Advitha is truly turning into a brat.


*is reluctant to obey us
*does not wear socks and shoes and roams around in bare foot in this cold weather
*eating habits at maddening heights
*selecting her own dresses- her combinations are close to stupidity
*shoes selection is also hers...amongst her 4-5 pairs of shoes , selects the one which is the most uncomfortable for her and ultimately makes us to carry her
*wants to bathe only in bath tub

..... and the list goes on

There are some good ones as well..
*Cycling
*Clear talks
*Improved drawing skills and quite a few
*Hugging me and saying 'sorry' when she knows she is wrong

Looks like her 'Terrible and terrific three' is in full form

Recent chennai visit

I think i lag quite a bit in updation. I'll will start of with our recent 4-day chennai visit:


*Jonah: I never knew I could get smitten by another kid when I am in maddening love with my own. But this kid , Jonah (SIL's son) is so adorable,cute and naughty that I got very patchy him. I think when you do a kid's daily chores-feeding,bathing,playing ...you get emotionally attached to him/her...Adhu had a great time with Jonah ,she fondly calls him 'baby brother', she became so protective of him that when my dad questioned his name, Adhu's reply was ' hez a small boy, don't ask him questions' , Luv you,kutti paiya....

*Four day stay with relatives: All of us together had a nice time,...Adhu,me,arvind,kolla paati,vanaja paati,ramu thatha,jonah all of us packed inside a small but a more happy place... thanks to the two kids

Shyam's daughter's (my lil niece) function went on very well.... the princess (shwetha pattu) was dressed up in a cute pavadai and beamed in her attire....fruit shop visits, temple visits,gobbling hot doasa and chai at hema chithi's house and most importantly Advitha being at her co-operative best in food rounded off this trip very well
