my shy gal

This was evident during the ‘cousins meet’ described in my previous blog…Adhu is an extreme shy kid….she gets intimidated very soon ,gets into a shell of your own and glued to me.i feel so bad for my lil gal..Because otherwise an active, extremely talkative kid gets into a cocoon when she sees rebellious kids. She takes lots and lots of time to get familiarized ,while it is stupid of me to say that I feel embarrassed, but really I feel bad for my lil gal…I get questions like …does your daughter know to speak?why is she so dull? Might be the problem is with me…I think I am exaggerating the situation…My dear gal…all I wanted to see u always happy and not like thew pic:

Churidhar

Thanks to Aadi sale, we got two nice churidhars for Adhu at very valuable rates…Here is one of them and in fact her first proper churidhar

Happenings at Adhu's nest

Really don’t know where to start with:lots and lots of happenings…to start with first hearty hearty wishes to arvind on his ‘Super achiever award’.Bugger had put down his papers in his earlier company and just before that he had got nominated for this award, but his people were gracious enough to honour him with this award…Arvind flew down to Delhi to receive his award…How nice!!!

Cousins

Then there are nice get together parties especially with the lil ladies -Deepa, Disha and ashok kutty.All three are arvind cousins’ kids.In Bangalore we have a big relative crowd…so at point of time we had some 20 people ,4 kids ransacking the home..Oh boy!!it was great fun..Adhu during their first visit was as usual a very shy kid(read very very shy) that she did not even go to them. She went to the extent of going to another room and folding her clothes just ignoring the big crowd at home….i felt so bad and embarrassed..But during their second visit she started to play with them…How nice again!!!

The recent one was the visit by Adhu’s ramu thatha..Madam was glued to him…being with relatives is always fun…love you all people

Fair deal

Scenario:1


Busy, clumsy morning and Advitha at her peak

Me:ur gonna miss ur bus,get ready soon

Adhu:Its ok amma, I’ll go in 38 bus if I miss 37

Me:its fine, now u get ready

Adhu:No I am not going to school,in school they are saying ‘sit down, don’t talk’

Me:No Adhu,school is fun, u can learn a lot ,it will be nice

Adhu:No I am not going…..

Me:okay you take your phone to school,is it fine?

Adhu:okay mummy…vango school pogalam

Scenario:2

Adhu with her dad and pestering for chocolates on both hands (she wants to have everything in both hands). Arvind knowing the lil brat in a much better way immediately shows her squeeze jam and surprise of surprise she was ready to compromise chocolate on one hand for the jam

So this is how I learnt my meaning of ‘fair deal’
