Got tattoed-first one and other stories

Last week i took Adhu to Raghav's bday party at out apartment club house (ok ok i understand , Advitha was invited and i just got tagged along). Madam had amazing time there. gulped down samosas, puffs, even asked me seconds for fanta. danced, jumped, whistled ,ran around the hall,what not !!!!
The above is upside , but the real scene in the backstage -getting her ready for the party became one nightmare.My dream of she wearing her pretty purple frock,two lil ponies, matching bangles and shoes remained a dream. Lil brat woke up with a tantrum, was not having milk. on top of it she did not want to give the gift and started to remove the gift wrap. anyway we both finally made it to the party only to hear even more tantrumic stories from parents of other kids
Yeah then she got tattooed at the party, a cute lil butterfly, made no resistance and showed it proudly to everyone

Mango mango

Adhu loves mangoes to no end. i think she can have it for all meal sessions and me\my mom can just give mangoes instead of running behind her with other food

I am a person with hardly any creativity, but i was amazed to see her doing this today, of course i seized the opportunity to shove 2 chappathis to her. Hope her creativity skills further sharpens and she amazes us further :)

Oh!!!how i wish to see her in ponies, but brat hardly agrees to that

Has she moved to the next phase?

The below activities and traits listed makes me feel whether she has comfortably moved to a kid phase from a baby phase ,which i am certainly not ready to accept
Independent
She wants to know everything,do her chores all by herself, listed below are some of her activities which explains us how independent shez become

• wants to brush all by herself in the  morning. doesn't want our help.
• no help for bathing. asks us to keep a bucket of water, then makes us to wait near the door. she measures the water temperature, if hot she adds cold water with hand shower, takes the soap and starts bathing herself. in the pretext of keeping the towel,i'll try to enter for which she firmly says 'amma towela anga vachudungo,neenga poengo'
• the testing time atleast for me is she selecting her own dress, amidst the plethora of cute dresses she'll select the one which i've earmarked for only feeding purpose, wears it with totally unmatching trousers\shorts\skirts. if i or paati raise our offence to it, we are done for the day
• even to drink water,ask us to lift her to water purifier, takes the glass fills her water and drinks it all by herself
• wants to switch on the television and dvd by her own. now she knows a bit of it too
• eating=at least in this, she allows others to feed beacuse she hates to eat. she prefers to stay hungry and became cranky than  to eat

Inquisitive

Knows in and out of whatz happening at home
Me,Adhu and arvind purchased mangoes at Hyper city,
Paati on arriving at home asks 'where did you guys buy the mangoes ?at hypercity market or village supermarket?before i could answer, Adhu says 'paati naanga hypercityla vanginom'

This is just a small example of ever never ending talks and conversations at home. She notices everyones activities so keenly.look at her shaving her dad

Troublesome

Taking her to restaurants and supermarkets are a nightmare for us.
At the restuarant:
Time spent:45 minutes.normally Adhu doesn't like restaurant food . so shez well fed before we leave for her 'fish hotels'(this is how she normally refers restaurants as).
Today in the 45 minutes time, she asked us to take her for three susu's.She took the buttermilk served with spoon which was mostly spilled all over and kept on asking us when are we leaving. we ate fast and got out before she becomes too cranky
At the supermarket
picks whatever she likes,ensures that it gets billed, she checks for her items in the shopping cart every now and then,so we can hardly fool her.todays's 'Adhu's items' were
-1 blue brush, this is in addition to the three brushes she has
-3 wowie choclates
-3 packs of playdoughs
she has started to like icecreams. look at her licking her cornetto icecream

Boldness

Yesterday we took her to Garuda mall which has a nice playarea for kids. we were supposed to go to cubbon park but sudden rains spoiled our plans. she had a great time at the playarea,throwing balls at other kids and enjoying herself thoroughly. this is the same place which she refused to go seeing other kids some six months ago. she has indeed become very bold

From brooming, the next mile stone is folding clothes
she does with so much focus and concentration, picks up only her clothes,doesn't allow maid\paati\us to touch her stuff, gets them one by one from the terrace ,folds them properly ,for her frocks which is lil lengthier she gives it to paati saying 'ayyo ennala madika mudiyala,please madichu kodungo'

But  doesn't touch any of our stuff.......... anyway momma is just happy with she being so reponsible hehehehe...

Troublesome toddler still for eating

Advitha, though you are a lot better in eating (atleast showing preferences for junk food and asking us for some of her dishes), still i can rate you perfect only when i need not change your dress after feeding you

Glass crayons

I think this is the best thing i've got her so far, she endlessly draws on the glasses without getting tired and asks us to write whatever she tells ranging from 'sun,jojo, adhu,watch......'.the glass crayoons had cost 200 and now among the pack of four two is lost and two has no life in it but still it harboured her imaginiation levels for sometime so its worth it

why is arvind a good father?

While I find it difficult to do one activity at a time, arvind can do these with ease.no doubts she is henpecked to him when hez around

 

Brooming skills-improved

Adhu doesn't miss a chance to clean the house. you know, you can't change her genes from her clean freak father
so now rest assured, while my hubby and baby clean the house i can sit in my recline and enjoy my tea (wicked smile)

Thalakad trip

This time Adhu can be comfortably named as 'water baby' and gives me doubts whether she is born to water or some stupid avatar
the tom boy enjoyed in the cauvery river for 1+ hour,nothing could stop her and it was difficult to get her out of water. Thanks to all her relatives-lalli chithi &family, sridhar mama & family and her special dad for making the trip great
