kodak moments
Doesn't the tomato smashing activity deserve a click:)Look at her cute pose
....another missed kodak moment is Adhu reading Chetan Bhagat book (tale of two states).....yes i was glued to the book and tried reading it every available moment (which is really sparse now a days) . lil Adhu keenly noticed me and when i was making dinner she took the book ,,sat on a chair and read it showing '''babababab' actions in her mouth ..but before we could click she gotdistracted elsewhere...phew !!!!

juice makers
Adhu's agenda in the morning is to hav juice and we see to that she has variety everyday . juice making department is completely her dad's and juice feeding- if shez cooperative its her dad otherwise its me using the brahmastram of force feeding (sorry adhu,,,hook or crook we make u hav good things)
the awesome thing she observes and sits with her dad in the entire process of juice making right from removing the fruits, cutting them, putting them in a jar and stands next to her dad when the juice mixer is used.the funniest part is she prefers to drink the juice directly from the jar ......
drinking directly from the jar

Mother’s day
May 9th 2010 was Mothers day. I came to know about it only from my mother-in–law SMS which read as
“Hi, young mom, happy mother’s day (On behalf of Adhu now)”
Thanks Ma, it’s so cute, Adhu kuttan would be happy when she gets to read this
Mom-daughter is a spectacular relationship. Motherhood transformed me into complete women- from a person who cribs to even cook to a focused, multitasking, dedicated person. Now I get surprised by the multitude of activities I handle-waking up before 6, finishing gym by 7 before the lil lady wakes up, then brushing Adhu (which is really a task, if I complete this activity in 5 minutes then I am lucky), cooking most the dishes and playing with Adhu to my hearts content till I leave to office.
Of course we try to take her to the pool and the play area in the available time- and Adhu is my driving force to carry out the multitude of activities. Thanks dear Adhu, you’ve made me so focused and given a purpose to live. Love you loads di
At this juncture, I should also thank my mom to the fullest. Amidst people who look down baby sitting, my mom is here running behind my daughter and taking care of her like a queen when I am away at work.
Thanks ma for helping us when we need you the most. My mom always says that I’ve hardly given her troubles at any juncture of life. I’ll strive to remain the same

The lady’s fun time with the pool
Adhu has got addicted to our apartment swimming pool. It should be just a month back that we took her to the kid’s pool. She loves it so much that just splashing of water has got transformed into walking down the small stairs of the pool and now walking all alone (with my hubby just a few inches away ) in the water which is neck deep for her. Though my husband also gets into the pool and carefully watches her she does not want him to hold her hands. Naughty baby
Last weekend my in laws who had come down from Chennai were astonished at my 1.7 year old baby’s courageous walking in the neck deep water. Now it’s a daily ritual for her to get into the pool at least for half an hour time under the watchful eyes of her daddy.
She loves her pool dress that she even wears her blue swimming dress at home and urges us to put the cap for her too
Advitha has started to say more words clearly like pant, baby, anna, akka, thenni (water), mama, thatha, pane (for plane), moon, appile (apple) ,chos (shoes)..sometimes she says ‘thikka thikka’ , we still can’t understand the meaning of ‘thikka thikka’ but its so sweet to hear .she is able to point out plane, apple, shoes, baby, cup in her reading book and ofcourse the body parts . wow !!!! me and arvind are one proud parents of this lil brat
Adhu loves music to no end. She has started to put ‘thalam’ in her hands after hearing to songs.now a days she is crying while we leave to office , she misses both of us a lot. In the evenings I get lovely calls from my baby who hands over the phone to my mom and says ‘amma amma’ indicating her to call me
This weekend it was special, we met lallichithi family, nalini mami and had a fab lunch at Gramin in Koramangala
